Street Theory Gallery & Collective presents an exhibition by After Awakening

Street Theory Collective presents HARVEST by After Awakening by Anaïse Louis
Curated by Gina Latham.

October 8 – November 5

Every harvest begins with a seed.

Street Theory Collective is proud to present Harvest, the first art exhibition by After Awakening—a Boston-based independent streetwear and apparel brand founded by Haitian-American designer Anaïse Louis.

Blending fashion, art, and immersive installation, Harvest expands After Awakening’s creative practice beyond apparel to explore labor, growth, transformation, and becoming. Inspired by the natural cycles of planting, tending, and harvesting, the exhibition considers the unseen work and sustained intention that shape us long before the outcome can be seen.

Rooted in After Awakening’s connection to workwear, storytelling, and the dignity of labor, Harvest brings clothing, imagery, objects, and installation together to examine the relationships between people, place, work, and transformation.

Harvest also marks two important beginnings for Street Theory Collective: our first exhibition presented through The Launchpad and the curatorial debut of Gina Latham.

The Launchpad is our initiative created to feed and sustain the creative ecosystem by giving independent artists and grassroots brands access to space, visibility, and community through exhibitions, events, and programming. By lowering barriers and opening doors, the initiative creates room for emerging creatives to experiment, expand their practices, connect with new audiences, and grow.
